Congratulations to our Women's golf team... way to go ladies!! 😁

The No. 12 women's golf team placed second at the 2026 NJCAA Region I Division II Championship with a final team score of +241 (1,377) over April 20-23 at Ocotillo Golf Course in Chandler, Ariz. Freshman Lexi Tuinstra led the Cougars with a second-place finish at +40 (324), five strokes off Mesa's Abree Germaine for individual medalist honors. Freshmen Molly McDonald (sixth, +68, 352), Elaina Hales (seventh, +70, 354), Madilyn Hongell-Jimenez (eighth, +71, 355), and Jaycee Garcia (ninth, +76, 360) also recorded top-10 finishes for SMCC: https://smcccougars.prestosports.com/sports/wgolf/2025-26/releases/20260424nlp5xk
