Long post just hang on for a second!
I've told people before that we are a cliche, an er nurse marries a firefighter, and now our kids are essentially the brady bunch in a blended farm family.
I keep no secrets that the farm page earning money on Facebook helps supplement the feed bill. It does not pay the whole feed bill by any stretch of the imagination. But I work for a living and Chris is semi-retired and he does contract work for wildfires in the summertime. Now so every bit counts.
I am also in my master's program and I was at clinical today and my preceptor is pretty good photographer. The physician was giving him a hard time about how much money his page has made him and they joke around a lot in this office. So it's fun there and I said oh that's cute then I showed him the farm page earnings because I've gotten a lot of bonuses this month by some miracle this month with the Facebook tasks. He said I have more followers than you. How is that possible? I took his phone from him and showed him how to sign up for the bonuses, he had no idea. Now when he goes to the philippines in a couple weeks, he could post reels and make extra money that he donates to charity and helps put kids through school in the philippines
So I guess the moral of the story is not all of the social media monetizing is a bad thing. I know a lot of people. It helps stretch the family budget. The farm budget, or in this case, doing really good work for people that really need help. So if he read this much anytime you have something show up on your Instagram or Facebook or TikTok seed of a contact creator doing good workwork for just doing work for their family, cooking cleaning farm, just living every little interaction does get them paid.
So support the pages and people you enjoy, like,comment, save, share their pictures and reels and any advice that you find valuable because it does make a difference for people.
