20 Sept is National Service Dog Day. We are thankful for all those battle buddies out there providing much needed companionship. Thanks to for all you do!

I had the distinct honor and privilege of participating in a memorial ceremony honoring 19 Marines who lost their lives on this day 24 years ago. The City of Marana, AZ and the multiple organizations involved, most notably Nighthawk 72, Marana Marine Corps League, did a phenomenal job organizing and executing the Memorial ceremony. Friends and family of those lost would be proud, I know I am.
This was a very special memorial for me, I was the Operations Officer for Control Group for this exercise and Cpl Eric Martinez was MY Marine. Until Valhalla, warrior!
