Had the privilege of showing up to my daughter’s recorder recital at her school this morning. It was her first real musical performance and I couldn’t be more proud of her!

Today will be a personal record of lessons taught in a single day (barring any last minute cancellations). 15 lessons on the schedule with people from 8 different states (AZ, CA, TX, WA, OR, MA, GA, and NY) as well as someone from the UK. 2 lessons down so far, 13 to go!

Every year, I do this fun guitar activity with my students called Guess the Christmas Song. You have to play the notes yourself (must know how to read tab!) to figure them out!
