Phoenix Fire Honor Guard

Every Friday we wear red and Remember everyone deployed! Here at the PFD honor guard along with pipes and drums we love to celebrate our Veterans. Today we are celebrating captain Higgins!

Here is a quick bio about Danny, his military service, and his favorite thing about the HG.

“I’ve been Married to Megan for 6 years and we have 3 kids under 5.”

“I served in the Marines 2007-2011 as a Sergeant loading bombs, missiles, and weapons on F/A-18’s.”

“Hired by PFD 2012 and was class 13-1.”

Honor guard since 2015.

“The thing I like the most about the honor guard is the opportunity to continue participating in military traditions and honors in the fire service. Every event we do is a humbling reminder of the gravity we face in our profession. That should drive all of us to be better at what we do.”
