Mosquito season is here. Tomorrow will be the second day in the row of Jackson County Vector Control's applications. Are you on the No Spray list? Are your neighbors? Please protect your pollinators, veggies, kids, and more from deltamethrin, which is toxic to bees, fish and also humans.

Big news from Beyond Toxics who helped move this bill through the legislature! Big thanks to everyone who testified in support!
HB 2409-A has passed the Oregon Senate and is headed to Governor Brown's desk for her signature!
This bill creates an opt-out policy in homeowner associations giving people more say-so in preventing unwanted pesticide sprays where they live and play. Passing HB 2409-A highlights the importance of having a conversation about alternatives to harmful pesticides in our home and natural environments.
We're excited about this bill passing because it holds the promise of helping protect pregnant women, infants and children, elders and pets from inadvertent pesticide exposure on lawns and walkways near homes. This legislation also aligns with our longstanding commitment to the public's Right to Know about pesticides and toxics before their use.
Special thanks to Representative Courtney Neron for her leadership on getting this bill passed!
