MacAlpine's has opened up an online auction featuring antique and retro treasures from our store! There are 190 items including sterling rings, Coca Cola items, clocks, a tandem bicycle, vintage signs, and kitchenware. We have some furniture too, including an armoire and a gorgeous dresser. Opening bids start at $1.00! We have included two unique auction items: our award-winning Naughty Pecan pie and 2 bags of gourmet coffee beans whose proceeds will be donated to the Caring Coalition AZ (a local mobile food bank which helps at-risk children receive their meals while they are not in school).

Preview for the auction items starts today through Monday, June 29th from 11am-6pm! The auction will close Monday at 6pm. It will be set up so there will be no snipe bidding. Great update from Mari Smith regarding the new Facebook Messenger video chat rooms!
"You can start a video chat room on Facebook, in FB Groups (which can have multiple rooms), or in Messenger, and you'll get a unique URL to share with invitees. Anyone can join your room, whether they have a Facebook account or not, which is cool. Plus, the rooms have no time limit. You can share your desktop. The camera on Messenger mobile app allows for fun filters, masks and VR features. It's not clear yet whether we have the ability to record/save/share video chats."
