The logo for the soon-to-be-opened Market Street Grill at 125 S. Market St. in downtown Paxton was unveiled Thursday by the restaurant’s owner, Elliott resident Angie Rouley. Rouley said Friday that she hopes to have the restaurant open in mid-May or early June. It will be located in the building on the east side of Market Street that contained The Humble Hog barbecue restaurant from November 2014 until its closure in February 2023 and previously contained the Tin Pan restaurant. The Market Street Grill’s page — which was launched Thursday at www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100091461827552&mibextid=LQQJ4d — already had 376 ‘likes’ and 429 ‘followers’ as of Friday afternoon. The business’ logo was created by Thalia Rouley, daughter of Angie Rouley and her husband, Josh, who serves as president of the Elliott Village Board.
