Today would have been Raymond’s 93rd birthday. My godfather, my grandfather, and now a clutch player on my spirit team. These pics are from his 90th birthday, and his air force days.

Getting amped for Saturday. ‘sgonna be fun! Bringing some heat and I know the rest of the lineup will be too 💥 Might even get crazy and drop a verse I just started writing yesterday.. I’ll be at Lacuna kava bar open mic tonight to pass flyers & give a little preview of my set

Day 1393 of ni****ne being my only remaining coping chemical. Inexpressibly grateful and humbled for how much healing I’ve had the privilege to receive. Excited for however much more might be still to come. All praise due to the unnameable great mystery. Deep gratitude for everyone who has helped me make it this far, in ways great and small. , , Mom & Dad, Gramma Dot, Zitsy & H, , , .a.d2 , Eddie Martinez, , Homeboy Sandman, Jim Wolfe, Gabor Mate, , just to name a few of the most major contributors. Love and respect and well wishes to all my fellow beings, including the most intensely addicted who feel no intention of ever quitting and/or no hope that recovery is possible. It’s a painful world and I don’t blame or judge anyone, for anything. As Jim taught me - I’m not any better or any worse than anyone else, I’m just awesome.

These pics represent just two of so many amazingchronicities lately. Life, the ultimate poet and unparalleled comedian, absolutely crushing it and always improving it seems.

Feels good where I stand, much higher to go 💚✨ Maybe see you at Trill next Saturday to celebrate. Either way, I wish you well always.

Today makes one century since the day my Gramma Dot was born. She will always have a special place in my heart, and I know she still watches over me. She loved me as if there was no better way a person could be than exactly how I was. Her love saved my life.
