We are thrilled to share that CJE and the NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement have an official agreement for collaboration! Leaders from both organizations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the collaboration, development, promotion, and facilitation of the betterment of the public procurement and construction industries, a move that will benefit not only the industries, but the public as a whole.

The agreement formalizes the collaboration of both parties to jointly develop and disseminate effective professional development opportunities for procurement professionals in the construction space. It also facilitates the ability to collaboratively manage a comprehensive outreach program, and provide industry with best practices. The MoU also expands the opportunities to educate both online and in-person, as well as through the specialized certificate programs.

The two leading associations are actively working together to enhance both the procurement and construction professions. Their efforts will be instrumental in creating opportunity for education and job skill development within the industry; helping the economy and younger generations as well as those looking to expand their current career.
