What makes a great portrait in YOUR opinion??

So if you’ve been following me for a while you know that I am a nurse practitioner in addition to being a photographer. [Hard to believe but I have been working in that role for 20 years now. 😮]

A little over a year ago, I changed to a new specialty: gastroenterology, or GI. It still makes me laugh to tell people “It is literally my job to talk 💩 every day.” 🤣😂

As you can imagine, the discussions I have with patients are pretty darn personal. 🫣 I don’t have a ton of time to develop a relationship where one would feel comfortable sharing initimate, private details of their bowel habits with someone they just met.

For the last 20 years, my job has been to allow space for patients to feel comfortable enough to share those details.

When it comes to photographing you, we get to have a lot more time together.
We talk before your session - sometimes several times.
I guide you every step of the way.
My job is to allow space for you to be completely, entirely YOU for your session.
And I promise I won’t make you tell me about your bowel habits 😳💩
