This is Challenge Ministries Global
Challenge Ministries Global (CMG) is a U.S.-based non-profit joint venture undertaken by Challenge Ministries Swaziland (CMS) and Partners In Action (PIA), designed to further the grassroots relief work being done by CMS throughout Swaziland, Africa – while delivering the life-sustaining message of Jesus Christ.
CMS was founded in 1997 by Pastor Kevin and Helen Ward in the Swazi capital city of Mbabane, as a response to the enormous number of children left with neither parents nor love due to the country’s HIV/AIDS epidemic. The CMS family now includes the following care initiatives:
Bulembu Ministries Swaziland - Child Care, Education, Sustainability Businesses, and more
In Community By Community (ICBC) - poverty-stricken community development initiative to meet the direct needs of Eswatini including Church development, pre-schools, child care facilities, feeding programs, healthcare, and more
Potter’s Wheel Church - located in Mbabane, the capital city of Eswatini to serve the leaders if the nation and operate as a central point of contact for all CMS family ministry sites
Teen Challenge Residential Centers - loving environments for individuals with life controlling habits to find freedom including a Men’s Center and a Women’s Center
For more than 30 years Partners in Action has played a vital role serving communities in need worldwide. Their mission is to move children and families out of poverty by building sustainable communities that can support themselves economically. As a Christ-centered and purpose-driven organization, their goal is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the communities we serve.
Partners In Action played an instrument role in the founding of Bulembu Ministries Swaziland, and continue to serve the vision to Restore a Town, Transform a Nation through their partnership with Challenge Ministries Swaziland. Those once unseen, now stand as the future leaders of their nation, empowered by God’s love for them, supported by Partners In Action.
