Hands Giving Hope Turkana Christmas Celebration.
2012 I was on way to a refugee camp in Turkana County, Kenya. On my way I stopped at a small community of Katukuri and was greeted by a Turkana grandma throwing stones at me. I was the first white man she had seen. I was attracted by this community and was persistent on helping them and in 2014 we started our school with 40 students meeting under a tree and a teacher living in his simple home. 2016 we built 2 school buildings, dug a well and built a water tower for the community. Today our school is growing with 120+ students challenging HGH with a need of another class room, housing for 3 teachers and a covered kitchen to get the students off the ground and out of the extreme elements. We’re believing God will continue to provide.

Hands Giving Hope delivering another load of donations to New Freedom a place where those getting out of prison can have an opportunity for a fresh start. This load had a couple bikes for 2 men who graduated the program and have been hired to new jobs. They were very grateful to receive these bikes to get back and forth to work
