People often inquire about my journey in real estate investment and house flipping. In 2012, I bought a short sale to live in for $205,000. It needed an extensive remodel however, the backyard was large it was in a prime location and I was excited to redo an entire house in my OWN style. I had to have an all-black kitchen so to save costs, we bought unfinished wood cabinets and I personally applied three coats of black stain 😮 2 years later we took advantage of the market and sold that home making a $180,000 profit 💰

Building on to this success, we reinvested our by acquiring another property this time to flip for $270,000. 😯It was in the same area I knew was up and coming an we quickly sold that one for $435,000. Regrettably, partnership concluded after this venture. 🏡In 2016, I purchased a patio home in Scottsdale for $270,000 directly from a seller who contacted me 🤭and transformed it into a profitable Airbnb which generated an annual profit of $24,000 and I eventually sold for $385,000 in 2020 when the HOA started cracking down on short term rentals. 🚪I then went on to collaborate with partners enabling me to engage in multiple projects simultaneously. To date, I have successfully completed a total of 16 property flips and helped several other investors and developers to build, renovate and sell their projects! 🛠️I have also acquired 2 rentals during that time turning two of my primary residences into long term hold investments. Those 2 together have about $750,000 in equity and earn me $3200 a month income. 💵Throughout this journey, my passion for design, methodical decision-making, rigorous market analysis, and strategic partnerships have been instrumental. People often ask me about my flip and real estate investing journey. 🏠Well if I look back it all started in 2012 when I bought my first home for $205,000 it was a short sale which we renovated and lived in for two years. We then sold it in 2014 for 180k profit reinvested that into another flip which we purchased for 270k and sold for 435K. In 2016 I bought a condo in Scottsdale for 270k directly from the owner my plans were to flip, however I ended up keeping it as an Airbnb making 90K profit on the rentals and then selling it in 2020 just before Covid for 385k. The list goes on in reinvesting and to date, I have successfully flipped 15 properties and helped several investors to design, build, renovate their projects. If we’re talking single-family residences in 2015 I purchased a home for $205,000 lived in that for two years. Sold that for 265k then purchased a new primary residence for 325k which I now have as a rental earning $1200 a month and I could sell for 625k. In 2019 I purchased my most recent primary residence for 465k which is now worth 900K and has a tenant in it earning me $1800 a month. All the while I have continued to be in the Top1% of Realtors in AZ and built incredible relationships with my clients who are now all friends. My eye for design, smart decision-making, rigorous market analysis skills and strategic partnerships are what have been key in building my wealth in real estate. Touring a super cute townhome near fashion Square mall in Scottsdale for under 500K. They did a really nice job making the most of the spaces in this one. Adding built-ins create so much more storage space for the buyer. Little things like this don’t cost a lot but really do add a high-end design feel to any space. In this market, we need to get creative with the aesthetic of the property. It’s no longer the market when the sterile white scheme will sell in a day.
