Today on , we honor and remember with gratitude for the service and sacrifice by members of the American Armed Forces. 🇺🇸
This carving by Lorenzo Reed (Navajo) represents two Navajo Code Talkers and is signed by four. The Navajo Code Talkers used their Native language to communicate military information during World War II. Other Native servicemen, including Hopi and Comanche soldiers, also served in this capacity during the war.
