If you had one of our 7mm barrels from years ago and tried it and weren't satisfied, we listened, we recognized issues and we changed. We have totally revamped all of our tooling for the 7mm. Here is a blank, 8.5tw right out of the sine bar machine. This is one of our NL barrels (Narrow Land). The NL rifling profile is what won the last F Class World Championships in South Africa. We do not normally offer this to the general competition competitor for one reason, barrel life. The NL will always perform better than a ~28-30% conventional land to groove ratio as it distorts the projectile less. The downfall? Barrel life is about 75% of what you would normally get. The NL is 22-24% land to groove ratio. These will all be competing in the world championships in England this August.

We are starting to put a hex in the end of the modular bolt handles so the customer can remove and install different configurations without having to use a collet or double nut the handles to remove and install.

Katie Blankenship with her Blake Barrel And Rifle built 7 Shooting Times Western (STW). Featuring our Carbon Fiber barrel in a 8.5 twist. 195 Berger Bullets going 3200 FPS. The Nightforce NX8 was the perfect optic for this build which is all built on a MC3 stock. She made a spectacular 763 yard shot on this 9 year old buck in Arizona last week.
