Join us this Thursday for a discussion on verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, conflict resolution, and trust building l. Community members, families and loved ones all welcome. Children will be engaged in peer run and staff supported breakout activities that promote healthy social and emotional development. Making magic happen! Thank you to our new service site hosts and a very special thanks to Ms. Wingo who made this all possible. These kiddos are so lucky to have a principal like her. We can’t wait to serve her community with education, motivation, and fun!

Our Navigating The Chaos parents event last Thursday was amazing! The absolute goat Shane Watson never disappoints and our hidden in plain site experience was an eye opener for parents and guardians - even though the teen feedback was that the room wasn’t messy enough! Shout out to Casey for volunteering, it’s always a party when Marty’s General Store is up and running. And a special thanks to the team for distributing prescription lock boxes and Narcan! Can’t wait to do it again. Thanks to everyone who attended and participated. It was great to see old friends and meet new faces.

It’s a really difficult time for teens, young adults, and families. Schools can only handle so much in today’s era of social media, peer pressure, mental health challenges and increased accessibility to drugs and alcohol. The collaboration of parents, educators and community members is needed to address these challenges. Join us for expert presentations and real action plans that are easy to navigate within your own homes, schools and larger communities. We are excited to collaborate with our community partners and introduce our shared wealth of resources and knowledge. This evening is free thanks to the generosity of Project Reset sponsors with food and beverages.
