Michael Faraday (1791-1867) is a true giant in the world of science. His most important work was his invention of the electric motor in 1821. He discovered how to make electromagnets, and also made important discoveries in chemistry, including benzene and other hydrocarbons. Wow!

Walter Russell (1871-1963) also said, "Knowledge is cosmic. It does not evolve or unfold in man. Man unfolds to an awareness of it. He gradually discovers it." These sentiments appeal to me because of my own experiences. Do you ever 'know things' that you have no reason to know?

As an improvisational musician, I'm familiar with sudden unexpected encounters. Though I suspect this quote is referencing human-to-human encounters, all magnetic attractions and repulsions affect us. Magnetic fields are part and parcel of everything. What is attracting you today?
