OAT had a great time presenting at Tomahawk Elementary and Middle School’s Career Day! We loved sharing what civilian oversight is all about and inspiring the next generation with fun, curious, and engaged youth. Opportunities like these are so important, they help students see new career paths, understand how community accountability works, and empower them to imagine their own future roles in building safer, stronger communities.

Do you believe federal agents may have acted outside the law or violated civil rights? Help the City of Phoenix document community concerns, preserve evidence, and support civil rights protections by reporting your concerns through the Federal Enforcement Complaint Reporting Portal at Phoenix.gov/CTI.

Law Day at the Maricopa Municipal Court was unforgettable!
Over 40 South Mountain High School students showed up and showed so much curiosity and leadership as we explored the importance of civilian oversight, our real‑world version of checks and balances. Deep appreciation for Pamela Neal, whose dedication and vision made this day come alive for our younger kids and high schoolers alike.

Law Day 2026 was a win. OAT had the honor of joining the event at the Aeroterra Community Center, hosted by the amazing Pam Neal, who leads Student Court with so much heart. We spent the day with 3rd–8th graders talking about the importance of transparency in Phoenix policing, running a fun activity, and joining a panel alongside judges and community pillars. Such an inspiring experience and we get to do it again next week with our teens.
