While fireworks are fun for many people, they can be one of the most stressful nights of the year for our pets. Loud noises, flashing lights, and unfamiliar activity can cause anxiety, panic, and even attempts to escape.

If your pet has a history of fear or anxiety during fireworks, now is the time to plan ahead. Don’t wait until the last minute to discuss options with your veterinarian. There are several safe and effective medications that may help keep your pet calm and comfortable during the holiday.
