I usually post dumb captions up in this bitch, but I feel like today has to be a lil sappy. Or at least a lil less messy. Iono. ANTYWAYS, it’s .fresca.so.cleans birthday and I don’t think she realizes just how much she’s impacted me over the past few years.

For those of you that don’t know, I was freelancing for awhile after a string of horrible experiences of working in the advertising world. I felt like I didn’t have what it took to work in the industry and just kinda gave up hope. But one day I got asked to do a photoshoot for and little did I know… that photoshoot was going to turn into me being the head of creative for this startup beverage brand. I’m thankful for Kayla because she saw something in me that, at the time, I didn’t see in myself. Fast forward to today and I still have that slight anxiety about not being good enough, but she’s taught me how to be more confident in my skin, how to be comfortable taking more risks, and also how to be an effective leader. All things that I just didn’t see in the cards for me.

So this is for you Kayla! Happy birthday and here’s to another journey around the sun. Excited to see what’s in store for you and this little Bonita world that you’ve created 💚
