Doesn’t get any closer than that from a massive failure! This is the lower rod bearing cage and this brings up a common question we receive about low ends. The crank was in spec side to side and no up and down play. We tore this crank apart 1)it had unknown amount of hours and 2) the high comp piston in it was just barely touching the head on the edges and side note Oem gaskets and no decking on cylinder or cylinder head so with higher rpm it was flexing up a bit to hit. So to finish sometimes the cranks spec out but can have issues and this is a good example of why it’s important to keep track of hours which also depends on the type of riding you do.
