Ahwatukee Toastmasters is holding an Open House on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, @ 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Esperanza Lutheran Church, 2601 E. Thunderhill Pl, Phoenix, 85044. We meet every Tuesday morning from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m.

We are celebrating thirty-five years as an active and strong organization in the Ahwatukee-Foothills area. The club’s mission is to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

We are an open club - all are welcome. Please join us!

This past week we had another amazing meeting.
Jim Chaston gave a great humorous speech entitled “The Standup Account.” Brenda Smull gave a fabulous speech in preparation for a keynote speech entitled “The Courage to Communicate Outside the Box.”

Our blue ribbon winners for 3/29/22 were:
Spark plug – Jim Chaston
Table Topics – Rick Phillips
Best Evaluator - Paul Brunoforte
Most improved Speaker: Jim Chaston
Best Speaker: Brenda Smull

Congratulations to Rick Phillips, winner of the Saguaro 5 Area Contest. Our area director Harsha Bipin attended the meeting and presented the contest trophy to Rick. He goes on to compete in the Division Contest on April 23.
