John Gunter and Jerry Kremen put their heads together to improve the existing design of a coating curing system. John filed a patent application for the new design which was granted in September.

MIRROR IMAGER
The Ritchie Cretien imager has a longer working distance and less spherical aberration than an equivalent simple lens system. It also has no chromatic aberration compared to the large chromatic focal shift of simple lenses.
