The Pinckney Schools Music program had its final spring concert last night with Pathfinder's 6th Grade Band and Orchestra. Music director Mr. David Rega led the orchestra in a variety of songs, ending with a rousing rendition of the classic "Dragonhunter". The 6th Grade Band debuted a new composition written by Mr. Rega, featuring their lively percussion ensemble. The evening ended with "Awesome Sauce", which was so awesome band members had to wear shades😎🎶 Photos courtesy of the fabulous Kyra Totten Zeilinger! Thank you!

The 2026 Pathfinder/PCHS Orchestras Spring Concert celebrated their Senior string players last Thursday night. Music director Mr. Kevin Welling started the program with our 7th and 8th grade musicians, who were then joined by the High Schoolers in a "side by side" performance. Students from the PCHS Wind and Percussion groups joined in the fun with "Go West". Senior Trinity Glodzik performed a special solo accompanied by the orchestra, "Salut d'Amour". Seniors Anabelle Curry, Trinity Glodzik, Mekenna Greene, Julia Lindblade and Griffin Peltier were each presented with a red rose and awards from Pinckney Music Booster extraordinaire Mrs. Cherie Rowse. What a wonderful night to highlight our Pirate musicians! Thank you to Bridgette Rosek for the beautiful photos🥰🎼🎻
