A Marginal Risk (Level 1/5) is in place from the SPC today. Strong downbursts w/ winds to 60mph will be possible after 6:00pm. Isolated large hail and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

Seasonable temperatures with a mild cooling trend can be expected next week. Showers/thunderstorms appear likely to start the week with lingering showers possible through the weekend.

Significant severe weather appears increasingly likely this evening into Wednesday morning. Widespread damaing winds, isolated large hail, and a few tornadoes will be possible.

A cluster of thunderstorms in far SW Michigan has the potential to maintain as it moves east-northeast. 60mph winds and 1.00" hail have been observed with this cluster.

Uncertainty exists as to whether or not storms will maintain into Livingston County. The potential also exists for a few storms to convect in front of this cluster given observed 500mb diffluence per the SPC's mesoanalysis.

A Marginal (Level 1/5) Risk is in place for damaging winds and isolated hail overnight into Wednesday morning. A few wind gusts to 60mph will be possible, especially if the storm front can ride the cold frontal boundary.
