It's been a busy few weeks for the Imagination Station class in Troy. After watching our caterpillars eat, grow, and create a chrysalis last month, Imagination Station was excited to observe our Painted Lady butterflies this week and release them on the playground!

Looking for a fun, nutritious activity to try with your kids? Our Magic Banana Nice Cream is dairy-free, naturally sweet, and teaches children how textures change! 🍌

Ingredients
4 large, ripe bananas (sliced and frozen overnight)
¼ cup milk alternative (like oat or soy milk)
1 tsp. vanilla extract

👩‍🍳 Instructions
Take out your frozen banana slices and talk with your child about how they feel hard and cold.
Place the frozen slices and vanilla extract into a blender or food processor.
Watch the "Magic": Blend on high! Stop the blender a few times to show your child the different stages. Watch it change from crumbly chunks into thick, creamy soft-serve!
Smooth it Out: If your blender stalls, splash in a little milk alternative to help it blend easily.
Scoop the soft serve into small cups and enjoy your healthy treat immediately!
