What a week!

This past Friday, our first-year students took the stage for Poster Day, highlighting the questions and issues they are committed to exploring throughout their time in the program. At the same time, our third-year students presented the clinical research they have developed to support their work.

Seeing that progression in one space made it a true full-circle moment.

Rutgers Day was a great time connecting with the community and showing what Rutgers is all about. We loved seeing so many people stop by, ask questions, and just engage with us.

Our healthcare trivia board brought in all ages and sparked some fun, competitive learning throughout the day.

Today is the day! For the next 24 hours, the entire Rutgers community is coming together to shape the future. At HOPE Clinic, we are on a mission to raise $5K in 24 hours. LET’S GOOOOOO!
Every gift, no matter the size, counts toward our total. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your contribution directly supports:
$35: Cost of 2 laboratory tests at the clinic for someone with high blood pressure or diabetes
$90: One office visit for an uninsured patient
$100: Cover all the routine annual testing a person with diabetes needs
$250: Interpretation services for 10 patient encounters

This week, we celebrate our student employees, Ayushi Naik and Rajvi Chaudhary, during National Student Employment Appreciation Week. Ayushi has become an integral part of our PA program team, supporting our admissions process and daily operations with consistency and skill. Rajvi, our newest team member, has already made a strong impression and demonstrated great potential from the start. We are grateful for their contributions and look forward to their continued growth.

From practicing taking a social history (in our Skills for Patient Assessment course 📝) to active wellness (some gentle yoga supported by UBHC Student Wellness 🧘) , the class of 2028 is wrapping up their first year of PA school! Amazing work by these dedicated students. Summer is around the corner!
