Gorilla sighting! 👀

Pitt State has been well represented in the weekly summer concert series by the Mid-Continent Community Band at Riverside Park Bandshell in Independence, Kansas!

Grads Denton Bodine and James Ryals each have taken a turn conducting, and a few Gorillas are members of the band.

Earlier in the season, the band was conducted by grad Daniel McDill and associate professor/interim chair Andrew Chybowski.

Auditions are open until June 22 for Pitt State Opera's fall cabaret!

Directed by Kendra Johnson, 4 rehearsals are planned for August and 9 rehearsals are planned for September. Performances will be Sept. 24 and Sept. 25 in the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts.
