Creating Legacies Inc.

Hey everybody. I hope everyone is doing well and and feeling great. Its been a bit and I just wanted to let you know about all of the things happening at Creating Legacies. Creating Legacies has been chugging right along. We are still providing food and hygiene products to those in need. If anyone wants to donate non perishible food products or hygiene products we are accepting donations of these goods at all times at 604 E. Centennial or The Ogre’s Lair at 108 W. 3rd both in Pittsburg Ks. The need has been at an all time high for us and anything really helps. Those in need can pick up food and hygiene once a month at Creating Legacies at 604 E. Centennial. The office hours for pickup are 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. No paperwork is needed and all we need is for the perspective person to fill out a small demographic form for our records.

This year has seen a huge uptick in people and families who need help from the food pantry. We are doing our best to make sure everyone gets things they need. Coming up in the new year hopefully everything gets better for everyone. There are a couple of can food drives being discussed and more information for that will be provided at a later date. We have had a lot of people ask if we were going to give out school supplies this year. I'm happy to say that Wednesday August 6th we will be handing out school supplies starting at 10 a.m. If you are in middle or high school if you already know your classes let us know on that day so that we can make sure you get the stuff you need.
