Summer camp is one of the best windows students have to build, create, and try things they don't get to during the school year. Here's how one district used it.

Janerl Lampson planned summer programming for Panama-Buena Vista Union School District. Her site alone served 450 students across three camp formats at once, from 6-week theme camps to a drop-in daily camp where students might come once or every day. Every lesson had to stand on its own.

Here's what she built with Pitsco 👇
→ Daily STEM projects students finished and took home the same day
→ A second layer for a week-long camp, connecting morning science to afternoon builds
→ Materials paraprofessional staff could grow into

By week 3, staff were running lessons creatively on their own, and leftover supplies carried the learning into the school year.

You got into education for the moments when students realize what they're capable of. When test scores climb and kids don't want to miss class, you know you're making the kind of impact that inspires lifelong passions.

How can you make those magic moments happen as often as possible in your classroom?

Real K-12 educators are sharing exactly how they made it happen with hands-on STEM learning.

The results they're seeing:
✓ Higher test scores
✓ Lower absenteeism

What teachers are saying:

"Building the drones showed the kids what they're capable of. Now they're building confidence in themselves." — Kaleigh Huxley, Director of Education, Kansas Aviation Museum

"We've seen such an improvement in our science testing scores. The middle schoolers graduated and wanted more." — Kandice Rowe, Science Department Chair, Madison-Ridgeland Academy

When students pour months of work into building, coding, and competing, the tools behind the scenes matter just as much as the talent on stage.

Pitsco Education was on the ground at the TX TSA State Conference in Fort Worth, supporting students across three exciting competition areas.

Here's what we're powering:

1️⃣ Esports (Brand New)
↳ Developed jointly by Pitsco and our partner Mastery Coding, this new esports event brings Python coding challenges and Madden NFL tournaments to student competition

2️⃣ Drone Competition
↳ Our new Inflatafly Drone Arena gives teams a safe, enclosed space to fly and compete

3️⃣ Dragster Racing
↳ Pitsco's new G4 Starting and Timing System brings precision timing to every CO2 dragster heat

From the code on screen to the cars on the track, we're proud to support the students and educators making STEM competition unforgettable.
