We are a nonprofit small animal rescue that teaches about our animal friends and how to care for them However, the toll it took on her body was too great.

Luna and Sassy hate getting caught, but they look so cute!

Miss Cera is off to the vet! She's had a bit of infection in her jaw, but after two weeks of antibiotics, were hoping it's gone down or disappeared. If it hasn't, she will likely have minor debriding surgery this afternoon. Best of luck, we love you Cera!

While posting about Lilly, I realized I hadn't properly introduced her! Lilly is a 5 year old lavender crested gecko that we got in June. She and her two friends were acquired when her previous owner decided to downsize. We know she was originally from a breeder out of Richmond, CA, and was used as a breeder for about 3 years, and we are her 3rd or 4th home. We have no health history beyond that. She came to us thin, and we're trying to figure out why --- but she IS eating her Pangea and just tried bugs. She is a pretty and fiesty little girl.

Lavender Ms. Lilly is a BEAST. Not only did she eat a few buggies, but she also tried to eat ME. It took a while, but she did eat a few.

Unfortunately, after getting her to eat 2 small mealies and 2 small larva, she did regurgitate them, but we're hoping she'll try again on another day.

Look at that size difference! Spike is about 7 years old, while Cera is only 2 years old. This was their first time seeing each other -- and only for the photo.
