We had a great meeting this week!
Wednesday, June 17th Recap:
-We started off with our guest speaker, Todd from Ringlet!
-We then shared some updates:
• Update 1 - representatives Dan Frankel & Marla Brown
• Update 2 - potluck celebration
• Update 3 - Proclamation of Aphasia Awareness Day
• Update 4 - Pirates game outing
-We then broke off into our small groups!
• Topic Group: In topic group, we brainstormed ideas for social media and video content for the PCAC. We want to increase our social media presence and spread awareness about aphasia group. Let us know if you have any ideas!
• Game Group: In game group this week, we played Taboo. Taboo is a game where players try to guess a specific “Guess Word” without saying the word itself or any of the 5 forbidden words on the “Taboo” list. It was a lot of fun!
• Open Conversation Group
Join us next week, Wednesday, June 24th, where we will be celebrating aphasia awareness month with a potluck and a game of “Name That Tune”. See you then!
