Are you a youth-serving community member looking to build your camping skills? Our Outdoor Leadership Training (OLT) Refresher Course is designed for individuals and organizations interested in developing their skillset in facilitating overnight camping trips with youth.
This 5-hour hands-on training will help you grow your confidence in planning and managing camping experiences. Participants also gain continued access to the OIC Gear Library, stocked with everything needed to outfit up to 25 campers—including rain gear, tents, sleeping essentials, and cooking equipment.

Another great day on the mountain as our youth approach the final week of the snow sports program. With each session, participants continue to build confidence, explore new terrain, and take on park features across the full mountain.

Adventure Camp 2025 – Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for Adventure Camp 2025, a series of immersive, week-long outdoor experiences designed for youth ages 12-15. These programs combine day and overnight camp experiences, providing participants with opportunities to develop outdoor skills, build confidence, and explore some of the region’s most scenic landscapes.
Backpacking Adventure Camp (June 23-27)
Participants will gain hands-on experience in backpacking and wilderness survival, learning navigation, fire-building, water filtration, and more. The program concludes with an overnight backpacking trip in Quebec Run Wilderness Area.
Watersports Adventure Camp (July 14-18)
This program introduces participants to a range of paddle sports, including canoeing, kayaking, and whitewater rafting. Campers will also take part in a river conservation initiative and conclude the week with an overnight camping experience in Ohiopyle State Park.
Summits & Survival Camp (July 28-August 1)
A combination of survival training and rock climbing, this program takes place in diverse landscapes, including Forbes State Forest and some of Southwestern Pennsylvania’s climbing area. Participants will develop key survival skills, practice climbing techniques, and take part in an overnight camping trip to apply their knowledge in a natural setting.
All necessary gear and overnight meals are provided. Space is limited with registration available through the link in our bio.

Full Moon Hike – Experience the transition to spring with a guided hike at Riverview Park leading up to the Vernal Equinox.
Gap Trail Bike Ride - Complete your ABC's by check your bike's Air, Break, and Chain. Join us on the trail with a leisurely stroll alongside community members.
