As an F&I manager in my day of working at a dealership, I always made myself available for what we used used to call "Payment T.O." at which point I took control of the deal. I return the Sales Managers involved would never disclose interest rate of exact payment amounts we used a range and when they could not close the deal, I would go in and CLOSE!!

Dysfunction Junction F&I and sales managers can get along, but when they don’t F&I managers should take the initiative to repair and strengthen the relationship.
