Wilson Park Pool will be closed Wednesday, July 8th, through Friday, July 10th, for repairs. We will reopen Saturday, July 11th.

On this Independence Day, we proudly honor all who have served and continue to serve in our nation's military. Your courage, dedication, and selfless sacrifice have helped protect the freedoms we cherish every day. To our veterans and active-duty service members, thank you for your unwavering commitment and service. Wishing everyone a safe, meaningful, and Happy Independence Day!

Through our initiative, “Honoring Our Heroes: A Green Tree Borough Tribute to Our Active Military Members and Veterans,” we are inviting residents to nominate family members, friends, neighbors, and loved ones who have served in any branch of the military.

This special online tribute will be featured on the Borough’s website and updated weekly throughout Summer 2026. We encourage residents to participate by submitting nominations and helping us honor the heroes who make our community proud. Together, let us show our appreciation for the courage and service that strengthen Green Tree Borough every day.

Join us at Wilson Park Pool TOMORROW, SATURDAY JULY 4 for our annual Independence Day Celebration!

We will have inflatable slides, bouncy houses, a limbo contest, kids face painting, boat races, a baby pool duck pond, and more.

POOL ADMISSION IS FREE TO ALL!

Lunch will be available for purchase.

The Farmers Market is open today, Thursday July 2! Join us at Green Tree Park from 4:00 - 7:00pm to shop for goodies from some of our wonderful local vendors.

Please note: vendors may be limited, and there will be no food trucks this week due to the high temperatures.

Stick around after the market for our weekly concert in the park! The Doo W*p Doctors will be performing at the park from 7:00 - 9:00pm.

🌞 Heat Wave Reminder 🌞

Temperatures are expected to soar over the next few days. Please take a few extra precautions to stay safe.

ALERT:

Garbage and Recycling collection will begin at 5:00am tomorrow, Wednesday July 1 due to high temperatures and the safety of the Waste Management employees.

To ensure your collection will not be missed tomorrow, please be sure to place your items for collection at the curb any time after 4:00pm TODAY, TUESDAY, JUNE 30. Items placed at the curb Wednesday morning after Waste Management has been on your street will NOT be collected.
