Today at the Sharpsburg Senior Center, we had a visit from our new four-legged friend! We had a ball!

Gus is a certified therapy dog, and he and his human Maura spent the morning with the seniors during bingo! Gus is fluffy, friendly, and an absolutely paw-fect addition to a Tuesday morning.

🇺🇸 On Memorial Day, the Northern Area Multi-Service Center honored the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms and way of life.

In honor of that recognition some of our staff participated in the Sharpsburg/Etna Memorial Day Parade!

Thank you to Tim Stewart (Senior Center Coordinator), Joe Poli (HDM Driver), Jason Bowser (Access Transportation Driver) and Grace Ferraro (Senior Center member) for representing HDM, the Senior Centers and Access Transportation in the parade.

They distributed candy along the way and were greeted with cheers from those who recognized the vehicles that so often provide support to these communities on a daily basis!

On behalf of our participating staff and the the rest of our organization, we remember those who we lost and give thanks for their courage and service.
