Pittsburghers for Public Transit
PPT is a grassroots union of riders, transit operators and residents fighting for a more equitable, affordable and sustainable public transit system.
It's been almost two weeks since the snow fell, and unplowed curb cuts, intersections, and bus stops are *still* trapping so many disabled Pittsburghers in their homes. We deserve a full solution, a snow emergency response that values disabled people and pedestrians as much as it values cars. In the meantime, please check out Pittsburgh Center for Disability Justice's mutual aid form: request public areas that need shoveled, or (especially) volunteer to shovel public areas so everyone can get where they need to go.
