Our Story
The company
Conturo Prototyping, LLC was founded in 2016 by John Conturo, who successfully graduated from University of Pittsburgh as mechanical engineer. Starting with a 1,000 sqft machine shop in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA , Conturo Prototyping operates now a 8,000 sqft facility with 5 CNC Mills, 2 CNC Lathes, various manual machines and an inspection, finishing and material handling area.
Our Vision
Over the past decade the city of Pittsburgh has grown into a hub for engineering and technological advancements and has become a highly demanding market for prototypes and machined parts.
