Age 78, of Pittsburgh, on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024. Beloved husband for 48 years of Janet. Dear brother of Louis (Marlene) Folino, Carla Evans and the late Andrienne Pack. Dear friend of Stephen & Linda Peterson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Edward worked for Mt. Lebanon Office Supply Company. He was a very talented man and had several poems and short stories published. Eva J. Genday,

Age 95, of Brookline, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 7, 1928 to her parents, Theodore Demianczyk Sr. and Mary (Harkus). She was predeceased by her husbands, Robert Genday, William Hawrelak and her daughter Gloria. She is survived by her children, Son David Hawrelak, Daughter Cynthia (James) Gormley, Granddaughters, Tawnya (Naman) Chaurasia, Samantha (Daniel) Zorn, Great Grand Grandchildren, Leo and Luke Zorn. Eva had many jobs during her life, but the one she was most proud of was working in a factory to aid in the World War II effort. Eve enjoyed reading and watching mystery stories, family gatherings, working in the garden, decorating and her cat Zoe. She will be missed by her family and friends. Age 69, of Scott Twp., passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Beloved Husband of 40 years to Patricia (Valerio) Brandenstein. Loving Father of Michele (Michael) Krasousky and Jessica (Christopher) Koch. Cherished Pap Pap of Alyssa Krasousky, Jordan Krasousky, Jaxon Koch and Sylas Koch. Beloved son of the late James and Jane (Smith) Brandenstein. Loving Brother of June (Dave) Daily and the late Jimmy Brandenstein. Also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends. “Fast Ed” was a Magician, avid gardener and a great friend to everyone he met. He was a kid at heart who never grew up.
