Join us for a free workshop with our Artist in Residence, Sara Jean Ruiz, happening this upcoming Sunday! Learn how to make a quilted memory collage.

In this workshop we will learn how to print childhood images/meaningful memories onto fabric sheets with an inkjet printer. We will use these prints to create a quilted collage onto a vintage handkerchief. No previous sewing experience required!

*When you register, please email any personal photos you'd like to incorporate into your piece to [email protected]. This will speed up the printing process. :) There will be miscellaneous vintage photos provided for those who don't email photos ahead of time.

Sara Jean Ruiz is a textile artist working with words, recycled materials, and the desire to be loved like a baby. Her work focuses on memory and creating tangible expressions of grief, care, and longing as it relates to her experience with complex-PTSD.
