Experience innovation and cost savings with our 3D printing and design solutions

FFF (fused filament fabrication) melts a plastic filament and lays it down layer by layer to build a part. It works with a wide range of materials and it’s one of the most common and affordable 3D printing processes. Because it builds in layers, the part can be stronger in some directions than others, and it typically uses support structures during printing.

MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) works differently. It spreads a bed of nylon powder and uses heat to fuse the powder together one layer at a time. Since the part is supported by the surrounding powder as it prints, MJF doesn’t need support structures, produces fine detail, and creates parts that are strong in every direction.

We run both at Tronix3D, along with everything from standard plastics to aerospace-grade PEEK, ULTEM, and titanium. Quotes in hours, parts in days.
