Happy birthday to the late Albert Hofmann, Ph.D., photographed here with MAPS Founder and Executive Director Rick Doblin, Ph.D., in the 1980s. MAPS honors Dr. Hofmann's major contributions to the field of psychedelic science, including his chemical synthesis of L*D and psilocybin, and continues to integrate his historical accomplishments to allow for widespread access to psychedelic medicine.
