"As the mother of an amazing Apraxia star, Ames, my entire being has been shaped by his diagnosis, forming me into the mom I am today. Speech therapy is integrated into our everyday lives, whether it’s sessions with his incredible SLP or encouraging target words and more accurate approximations at home. But truthfully, I don’t see this as a negative thing.
