Looking for a meaningful way to strengthen connection? 🤍
Try a Kind Message in a Bottle activity.
This simple practice helps children build prosocial skills like kindness, empathy, and encouragement while also deepening a sense of belonging within the family. When children give and receive affirming messages, they are learning how words impact others and how connection supports emotional well being.
How it works:
✨ Write a kind note or encouraging message to someone in your family.
✨ Roll the paper and secure it with string, yarn, tape, or simply fold it tightly.
✨ Place the note inside a small bottle or container and put the lid back on.
Then decide how you want to deliver the messages:
• Create a treasure hunt around the house
• Surprise one another at dinner
• Leave a bottle to be discovered at bedtime
Moments like these support emotional safety, strengthen relationships, and reinforce the power of positive words.
Connection shapes regulation. Regulation shapes learning.
Wishing you a day filled with kindness and belonging. 😊
