I want to wish the cast and crew of Bishop Canevin’s musical “Good Luck” this weekend! Tonight is opening night of Into the Woods but I had the pleasure of being invited earlier this week to come and capture their performance for them.
While I don’t feel these are up to the standards of my normal work, the kids are graciously happy with them.
While I love my mirrorless, I need some more practice with switching the shutter to try and fix the flicker even more.

This week’s Senior Sunday post is late in the day, but I made it!

Will is a Senior at Bishop Canevin who is planning on a career in Engineering after High School. Will is in Marching Band and plays Hockey with Fionn and we have been blessed to count his family as an extension of ours these last few years.

Will and his Mom met us downtown for a foggy sunrise session a few weeks ago and I love the images we captured before the city was up and moving for the day! It was a great morning for an adventure.
Truly, Sunrise sessions are quickly moving up the ranks in terms of my favorites to shoot!

Senior Spotlight (I have one everyday this week)

Fionn, Bishop Canevin Class of 2026.

Today’s Senior Spotlight is also a reminder that your Senior Session doesn’t HAVE to be downtown or at a big park. It can be the places you have spent time growing up. While we have done a couple sessions, I have yet to share any on Fionn’s as I have been plugging away at everyone else’s photos.
I stole a quick half an hour of time for myself last night after we took a walk around our block to take those photos. We’ve taken photos on this trail his whole life and the Winter ones are some of my favorites so when snow was in the forecast, I jumped at the chance to grab a few now.
If you love Winter, let’s talk. Fresh snow fall always looks amazing for sessions. It’s a little more spur of the moment but if we have everything ready to go, we can make it happen.

I have been buried in Senior Edits and am finally starting to come up for air so that means a post!

While Rowan’s had her galleries for some time I have not had the chance to share them yet! Rowan and I spent a beautiful Fall evening down at Mingo Park in early October for her Senior Session.
I have had the pleasure of getting to know Rowan and her family these last few years at Bishop Canevin and was delighted when they inquired about Senior Photos. It is always an honor to be trusted with these memories. Congratulations Rowan, I can’t wait to celebrate the rest of your senior year with you!
