Allegheny Alerts is a free notification system that brings local updates directly to you on topics such as severe weather, road closures and traffic updates for Allegheny County-owned infrastructure, public health and air quality updates, notices from the Allegheny County Parks Department, election updates, and more.
Alerts are available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and Hindi.
Allegheny County Emergency Management and Police Departments will continue to utilize existing alert systems to provide emergency notifications to all local phone numbers regardless of Allegheny Alerts registration.
