One of the most powerful parts of fostering with Pressley Ridge is knowing you’re not alone. Pressley Ridge creates connections to the community not just through staff support, but by bringing foster families together in meaningful ways.
For many LGBTQ+ foster parents, finding community can be especially challenging. At our Breakfast with Santa during the holidays, a few families met and connected instantly. That spark turned into a group chat, regular get-togethers, and a space to share triumphs and frustrations with people who truly understand life as q***r foster parents.
The result has been a strong sense of belonging for parents and friendships for their kids. This is what true community looks like. 💙
