As our country prepares for the America 250 celebration, we wanted to share a meaningful moment from our Spring Concert.
Before we sang, we paused to acknowledge the original stewards of the land on which we gathered. A land acknowledgement is a reminder that the history of America began long before our nation's founding and that Indigenous communities continue to enrich our country today.
At Voices in Plainfield, we believe that understanding our shared history helps us build a more thoughtful and connected future.
