Introducing the English Fruit Cake ! An ancient tradition that has morphed into a symbol of prosperity, gathering, celebration, and tradition. This one is extra special as it is one my own mother in law has made every year for us all. She labors for weeks to produce the perfect “Christmas Cake”, collecting and preparing just the right ingredients. From soaking dried fruits in her signature syrups, to baking the most deliciously rich cake, to scratch making her marzipan, it is a staple we never leave out. A cake our family and friends all over the world anxiously wait for in the mail. A cake our neighbors and friends hope will turn up at their door… a cake that has grown to be loved by so, so many!
